I just received an e mail from code factory that they have released a daisy player for simbian 9 phones. They said in the e mail that a version for windows mobile phones will soon be available. Has anyone heard of, or used it? I was planning on getting a vr stream, but I have mobilespeak and am thinking of getting a new phone, should I wait on the stream, and see about the daisy player from codefactory?

It would depend on the cost of the codefactory player. I would wait until they got all the bugs out of it before purchasing one in any case. I love the victor reader stream; however, i don't have mobile speak, so.... that's that. Good luck.

I'd give it a year or so depending on the company. Freedom scientific is the worst about releasing products that are full of bugs. If you have had good experiences with codefactory, and if it's cheaper, go with that. It's up to you. I don't know much about mobile speak, but I do know about the victor stream, and I love, but if there is something that you are used to, go with it if it's cheaper.

I e mailed code factory and asked them when the daisy player for smart phones would be available, and what programs it will support. They haven't gotten back to me yet. I'll probably end up with the vr stream. I don't know yet

I'd go with the vr stream. It can read a ton of different formats. But that's just my opinion. Admitedly I haven't done much more than skim the press release about this daisy player software that codefactory's put out.
